An 11-foot overall height (5-foot platform + 6-foot blind) is considered the "sweet spot" configuration because it balances maximum hunting advantages with easy building, safety, and comfort.

Perfect Sightlines and "Air Cleaning"
See Over the Brush: A 5-foot platform lifts your eyes to about 9 or 10 feet off the ground when seated. This is just high enough to see over thick field tall grass, low brush, and small rolling hills without being blocked.

Scent Control: Deer have an incredible sense of smell. Elevating yourself pushes your body heat and scent up and over the immediate area, meaning deer walking nearby are far less likely to catch your wind.

Because this is a massive, heavy-duty solid wood and steel structure weighing significantly more than standard retail packages, it ships via a Less-Than-Truckload (LTL) Freight Carrier. To guarantee a smooth delivery, please note the following:

• Curbside Liftgate Delivery Included: Freight delivery is included in your price, with a freight truck equipped with a hydraulic liftgate to safely lower the palletized lodge to the ground at the end of your driveway.
• Phone Number Required: You must provide a valid phone number at checkout. The freight carrier will call you directly to arrange a mandatory delivery window.
• Delivery Signature: An adult must be present at the time of delivery to inspect the shipment and sign the delivery receipt.
• Geographic Exclusions: Free freight shipping is valid for residential addresses within the contiguous United States. For deliveries to exceptionally remote rural zones, islands, Alaska, or Hawaii, please contact us for a custom quote before ordering.
